Here’s another of those innovations that should have caught on because it makes perfect sense.

The idea to combine the crosshead and the bell of the tap had various great things going for it… Only one casting rather than two, if the tap leaked up the shaft the water wouldn’t collect and corrode on the cavity and finally it stopped the bell seizing to the lower body.
Who knows why it didn’t catch on.

They have a compact spout design reaching 75mm (measured centre to centre)
The indices are in a pretty good condition, considering their age.

They are tested and ready to fit. Priced at just £225 per pair, they will add a certain something to a character-filled bath/cloak room.
