As our welcome page says, MOST taps are made of brass and plated for easy care.

But every now and then we manage to find the ultra-rare pieces, that are made of solid nickel.

We have only carried out an internal restoration on these lovely old Shanks, 4.5″ spouted examples so far, but if you want more of a shine, that can be arranged for an extra charge.
