We are often asked, ‘Who is your most famous customer?’ and we think everyone in the modern world is aware of the Bank of England.
We were approached by the in-house maintenance team, with regard to refurbishing the solid nickel taps in the Governor’s parlours. This was rather an in-depth job due to their mounting into a marble surround. We also had to have one of our technicians ‘vetted’ by the security services to make sure he was ‘not a threat’.
At this point, there would normally be photos of the finished taps, but due to ‘security reasons’, that’s not allowed.
