How many great companies have ceased trading, but left behind such a tapestry of beautiful symbols of their work like John Bolding & Sons?
The company was founded in 1822, but closed their doors in 1969.
Their listed building still stands in the West End of London and their taps, basins and sanitary wares still pass hands for hundreds of pounds.
What a shame that when most people go to buy new taps in this day & age, that they come from countries around the world, but rarely are they made in the UK.
If you have old, English taps that need some TLC, call someone that shares your passion.
