Adams 1922 replacement cartridges and handles – FOR SALE – Updated

============== UPDATE ==============

BREAKING NEWS – At last someone has decided to make a cheap adaptor to make the old handle fit a more standard available cartridge for kitchen, basin and bath applications.

Necessity is the mother of invention!

====================================================================================================

There seem to be a lot of these Adams 1922 lever taps still in circulation,
but some of them are starting to fail in their ‘old age’.
The ceramic cartridges are starting to seize up and leak, then the screw gets stuck in the mounting,
so you are then unable to get the porcelain handle off.
Customers start to push and pull, and eventually something goes CRACK! – leaving a potential nightmare bolted to the sink or bath.
A broken handle, or cartridge shaft splines…
And the problem being that Adams had a very unique cartridge, with a 9.5mm, 20 tooth spline.

We have now sourced an alternative to the parts that are no longer available, in the shape of these
S. H. levers and cartridges.
They are not cheap, but they are excellent quality and they are probably going to be a cheaper option
than replacing the taps. (actually…?)

Prices – Unfortunately, these are seeming to go up on each occasion we place the order at the factory.
Prepare yourself for a figure of around £500.

For the basin sets, please specify if your levers are “deck-mounted” or on the side of a monoblock tap fitment.
Fortunately, we have found out that these parts also fit the B C Sanitan lever taps as well.
So that’s another group of customers that can benefit from our helpful ways.

N.B. These new levers will not fit the old Adams cartridges, or vice versa.

If you have any other Adams 1922 tap problems, call in the experts before you replace them with an inferior tap.
