It’s never the biggest compliment in the world to start by calling anything short, fat and dumpy, but that really is the best description of these curvy brass bath taps.
They are quite chunky in their stature with just a 3″ reach to the spout, but they will flow a lot of water because they have a 1″ BSP mounting base. But don’t worry we’ll supply the necessary fittings to get it back to a more standard 22mm (3/4″ copper pipe).
There are a few spanner marks on the glands, that show signs of olden day plumbers and their Stilson wrenches. But on the whole they are in excellent condition for their age.
The Shanks & Co indices have survived superbly and the capstan styling is indicative of the era.
