These bath taps are hidden away under a soap trap that disguises the spout and almost makes it seem that the water is appearing by magic.
But with the bright-work carefully removed, we can clearly see the deception.

N.B. The hardest part of the restoration of the bath, centres around the soap tray thickness… As the nuts that hold the tray in place also tension the packing glands.
